'Our 10-Year Plan' was a blog tag I created at the end of January for this entry. At the time, we were in Puerto Vallarta for the winter contemplating future ones. We started mulling over locations then, I suppose. I retired at 55 and the big scheme was to run off to spend winters in a wide variety of warm places. Ten trips will occur before I hit the traditional age of retirement.
Clearly, some thought needs to go into keeping our listing relevant. I require only eight names now as we're all set to head to Egypt in November. One of the original ideas was Bali, Indonesia. We only visited there once in the early 1990's. We could definitely go back while rain falls in Vancouver. We've found due to new Chinese airlines, getting to and around Asia is becoming a snap.
This photo was taken in Bali when my camcorder was bigger but my waist smaller. A great deal of the the world seems only $1000 away now though. Over the past few days, I have been doing quite a bit of research on the country of Ecuador. That has now tentatively been added to the list of locations. At the present time, the names are not sequenced by priority.
