I noticed a bit of rash on my legs a week ago, but today I had some on my arms as well. I thought I'd pop in the clinic although I have an appointment next week with my presently-vacationing doctor. I drove uptown, so after waiting for my number to be called, I was told there'd be an additional 45 minute wait. I walked over to the mall and meandered about London Drugs to waste a little time.
After returning to Care Point, I had to wait 10 minutes for my name to be called, and then another 30 minutes inside the room before the harried doctor on call came in to speak. She gave a prescription for a betamethasone cream with which I promptly walked back to London Drugs. I had to wait in line to see the pharmacist. He said that there'd be about a 25 minute wait.
I was hungry by now and drove back home to have lunch. In the late afternoon I went back uptown. I realized that traffic would be horrendous as often happens when schools open at the beginning of September. I decided to wait for the bus and use Jay's monthly pass. I had to wait about 15 minutes although the schedule should have been only about nine. I picked up the cream quickly but wanted to buy bananas at the supermarket there. There was only one cashier when I first queued up, so I had to wait.
I waited a while for the bus to return. I didn't see any coming and ended up walking back downtown and not a single #106 passed by me.
Actually as I am retired, I had the time to spare. I caught myself getting annoyed with all the waiting. I decided that life is better if enjoyed. It was a nice day after all.
