I remember a time when we bought domestic, North American air tickets online, but used to go for better international fares with a travel agency. They used to be aware when airlines were having unpublished deals. I can safely say we've been researching and purchasing all air tickets online by ourselves for at least five or six years. We are pretty savvy and confident when it comes to grabbing a good deal. Our upcoming winter to Egypt through Dubai and returning via Tunis is an example. It involves first getting on an Alaska Air flight to catch an Emirates flight out of Seattle.
We'll spend the winter across the Nile from the Luxor Temple.
Today, I happened across a website that is new to me, although it looks likes it's been around for quite a while. I like the looks of hopper.com. They have got iOS and Android apps too. I might even install just to play. It seems like a perfect place to play what-if scenarios.
