No measurable rain for two months, then wham!
In fact, it finally let up just a few hours ago. I refuse to complain. I do feel sorry for those tourists who arrived this past weekend for just one week. They sort of got short-changed a day of sunshine. We have only seen one round like this since we got here at the end of November. It was due. I must also remember this non-algebraic equation I just created:
sun + rain @the_right_lattitude = jungle
This is the combination which makes palm trees possible.
I like getting back up in the the hills here. We have only been south on the occasion we hiked to Colomitos Cove. It is strange as during our last two visits we ended up at the Puerto Vallarta Zoo. I like walking up the hill at the little zoo as it is scenic. It's a real hands-on place up in the jungle.
I'd sort of been saving this up if we had visitors down this winter. That might not happen, so maybe we should go soon.
