I have always thought how strange it is that I have travelled to over 50 countries, but may not have been to every street in my own city. I have lived in New Westminster, BC for more than 18 years and it is very small geographically. The total land area of New West is a mere 15.3 square kilometres (5.9 sq mi). Most definitely there are entire chunks of the surrounding cities of Burnaby, Coquitlam, and Surrey to which I've never stood. Sometimes our comings and goings follow very narrow paths.
Here in Puerto Vallarta we are in the small area called the Old Town, or Romantic Zone and the same thing holds true. There are places I can see from the balcony to which I've never been. In fact, I just made a pact with myself when writing this sentence that I will go to the top of the hill behind the Centro to see how close I can get to the communication towers.
The areas below are less than a 10 minute walk from where we've been staying since the end of November.
