This worked well at home because my phone plan had an 'all-I-could-eat data' plan for ten bucks a month. Here in Mexico, I swapped to a local SIM but am using a 'pay-as-I-go' plan. Therefore, I have switched off all data. I simply wait until I get near WiFi to use the Internet.
When I find myself in places such as I did this morning in the photo above, I can no longer stream Internet music from the likes of Songza. This has required a re-think as to how I can have tunes available on my phone on the go. I am finding it is convenient to use Google Music Play. I can keep the music online but download the particular tracks I want to carry around with me. It works like a charm.
As you might note from the album art, I have been exploring Top-40 hits. I'm quite impressed with a lot of the music available. There is such a large selection nowadays. This might give me a chance of actually knowing a few of the artists at this year's Grammys.
