There is a lot of unused potential in our smartphones today. If users don't get into a habit of looking for new chores for our devices, we end up using them for the same few mundane tasks. I will have to remember to switch on My Tracks when out of the apartment. All the new wearable technology such as watches and wrist bands can automatically do the monitoring. I can't get excited about those products at this time though.
For a morning walk, we visited the Saturday Market again. Many of the same sellers were at Lazaro Cárdenas Park. We didn't buy anything, but wanted to visit an HSBC cash machine for a withdrawl. Strangely, the screens indicated they both were "offline" at the close branch. (I wonder if they'll be up before Monday?) When crossing the bridge, we tried to spot iguanas sunning themselves in the trees along the river. Because of a cousin's Facebook posting, I took a photo. It was a bit too far away to come out clearly.
We then walked up the river to the cultural center and crossed a suspension bridge to do the length of Aguacate, our street. By the way, aguacate means avacado in Spanish.
Here are the particulars from the trip via the app:
