We'd not yet shopped in one of the big, Mexican supermaket chains called, Soriana. It was not much farther up the road toward the port than the competing Mega chain. We somewhat remembered the place for on a previous one-week vacation, we saw a movie in the cinemas there. Today, after getting food and a few supplies, we walked upstairs to see what was playing.
It seems as though movies are released earlier here, as the new "Hobbit" and "Gods and Kings" are already showing. There weren't any convenient showings in English today. After seeing their website we see that a newer mall, out near the cruise ship terminal, will be our best bet at seeing English flicks in 3D. We might go this week.
The days now often include a nap for we are in the land of the siesta.
Later, I went to take a dip prior to sunset. It is just so convenient and lots of people living north of here would relish a leisurely stroll down Basilio Badillo Street to warm Pacific waters.
Today reached a typical temperature of 28C (82F).
