Everyone considers himself or herself unique and independent. So, I've taken to smirk at my own reflections recently. It is pretty common for mature, local folks to end up during the winter in Cabo San Lucas or Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Residents, from along the our coast of BC down to San Francisco, often head straight south when the skies get grey. We might try gladly accepting a similar yoke of burden. This explains yesterday's blog entry.
I'm repeating the topic today for another reason. We also had an email from a Vancouver friend saying he'd be Puerto Vallarta during the second weekend of next month. Those are the days his cruise ship will be in port. That's cool. If we are there we can try to meet up. He's been there before, but a cruise was how we first 'discovered' Puerto Vallarta.
This caused me to wonder about my very first photo taken in PV. I was able to locate this one taken before disembarking from the Carnival Pride on February 13, 2008. (Since that day, we've returned to the area three times.)
