In this case I'm talking about a favourite which includes: a sign showing $0.99 breakfasts, a shiny AMC Pacer, and streets of downtown LA is 1976. Car Wash (1976) is one of the titles I included in an entry of three of my personal cult classics last October. Few movies capture an era so well as this day in the life feature. I never actually met examples of these characters but it is spot on in showcasing how different the world was when I was in high school.
