This morning I had class at BCIT but I wanted to add a thought from yesterday. We ate lunch on Davie Street at a place we frequent several times per year only. We noted another price increase at
Stepho's Souvalki Greek Taverna. One year ago, I mentioned about prices of $7.99 as being a dollar higher than the previous visit Yesterday, it was a dollar more than last year. Generous portions at a very reasonable cost is what made the place a perennial favourite.
I did notice that there was not a line waiting when we arrived. We always see a queue of patient customers alongside the restaurant at almost any hour. I wonder if there is a connection between increasing prices and the lack of folks waiting to get in.
