This is the last night in Bethlehem and we figured we'd spend another day in Jerusalem's Old City.
We thought we might be able to get up to the Al-Aqsa Mosque on a Sunday but it was still a no-go. We visited a number of sites again traversing the paths and roads. There were other new areas that we didn't chance upon on Friday's visit though.
We had lunch in the Old City and got back to Bethlehem late in the afternoon.
This will probably be the last time I set foot here. It is nice to have real, first-hand mental images of this place. We will be heading to Tel Aviv tomorrow for our last four nights of this trip. We are done seeing monuments and ancient artifacts. We will just be enjoying the beach and city until we fly back to Vancouver this Friday.
