Day 28 - No Longer in Motion

I took a picture but we didn't come in this van. We saw them near the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem. Or rather, we heard the drivers shouting, "Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv." To make a long story short: we waited for nearly an hour and then were transported to a cheaper, public van holding just 10 persons. We were at the Central Bus Station in TA in much less than two hours.


As per the website instructions, we boarded Bus #4 and were soon at the corner of Ben Yahuda and Bograshov. We are staying in the Black & Wild Boutique Hostel. (The prices in Tel Aviv are more than we became accustomed to on this trip.) We are only a road away from the Mediterranean Sea though.




It feels nice not moving. For the past month we've been in motion. Getting to Tel Aviv by land and sea has been an exciting adventure. Our first night in Cairo now seems almost like a different trip. We are here for the remainder of the week, leaving for Vancouver on Friday. I'm looking forward to doing very little for at least a few hours!
