I installed Microsoft Office Professional Plus on two computers this afternoon. It took a whole lot less time to install the current version than it did to uninstall the old Office 2007 programs. I figured I should install the newer version simply to keep up on slightly more modern software packages.
Having to sign in, promises the ability to work from any location and on different devices. Also, perhaps the newer, flat interface is slightly more attractive. At least the colours now better match the rest of the icons on my Win 8.1 netbook.
I can't be alone in my new problem though. I have important files spread over several SkyDrives, a Google Drive account, and Dropbox. It's now harder than ever knowing 'where in the cloud' my files are. So much for making things easier.
