I took this photo from my balcony last night. I could hardly see Columbia Street. Down here next to the Fraser River, the fog stays. In fact it never really cleared today. As soon as I headed down Eighth Street on the way back from school this afternoon, I re-entered the blanket of fog. I like it.

I find this thick fog sort of nice and comforting. It's like being inside during a winter Nor'easter on the US east coast or a spring shamal in the Gulf of the Mid-east.
