The last time I talked much about television here, I made mention of our changing consumption patterns. I mentioned watching an entire season of new series over a few short days. I seem to have beat the CBC which aired a news segment on The National about similar all-at-once viewing a few nights later. So, remember, you heard it hear first!
Today, I am sitting on the couch chilling. Today's class seems to have made me tired, or perhaps my lethergy stems from the fact I didn't sleep well last night. Regardless, I've turned to a little extra television viewing today. I watched another episode of the first season of Syfy's Continuum. I like trying to guess where all the outdoor scenes are shot as it takes place in Vancouver. The current locations are easy to figure out. Vancouver of 2077 is a little less familiar, and it's a little sad to realize I probably won't last long enough to actually see that!
After that show, I checked to see what was on Hulu Plus, but ended up watching a bit of telly from the UK. I use a proxy to watch video through the BBC iPlayer. However, I've always maintained that Canada is actually somewhere between the US and the UK. The hours of stream-able content available on my television screen is mind-boggling and there's definitely more than enough to get me well into 2077. I probably won't spend that much time on the couch though.
