Paper Postcards

One of our local newspapers is called The Royal City Record. The New Westminster paper runs a section called, "Paper Poscards" where personal pictures are published. In this section readers have taken along a copy when going on a vacation. The vacationers hold up a former edition and snap a photo in front of some famous site at the destination.

We always try to remember to take along a copy of the newspaper for this purpose. Today I found several taken in Burma (Myanmar) that we will email to The Record. These photographs were taken at the end of January and the beginning of February. We were gone from November through early March on a vacation in Sri Lanka and SE Asia.
