Yet, other little things are making me feel my age. For example, I calculated that I have been involved in teaching for 32 years come fall. That seems like enough of "any one thing" to do, doesn't it? Furthermore, we have now been living in the same place for 15 years. That never seemed like it would happen. I've even been taking digital photos for 10 years. I guess I should stop and appreciate my own acquired wisdom.
I bought my first little, digital Olympus camera in the spring of 2003. Here's proof from a picture taken in April that year. It's been on Flickr for ages with the following description:
"April 2003 - We took a 2,000 mile trip to see a part of our British Columbia. We went over to the island, up to Port Hardy. Then we boarded a BC Ferry that went to Prince Rupert. From there we went up to see the glaciers near Stewart Alaska and then drove back down to the Lower Mainland via Prince George."
