I'm now spoilt by having access to thousands of movies via Internet streaming. For example, after a hard weekend teaching, it was time for us to choose a movie to watch this evening. I said I was in the mood for a western, and many were on tap for viewing on our own schedule.
We scrolled through just the front page before seeing a cover photo that looked promising. A single click brought up relevant data and reviews. Okay, Hombre (1967) it is. I cannot imagine going back to the days where we had to survive on crumbs of TV networks, or a trip to the video store (which incidentally are all closed now). Even the ease of picking up from the mailbox downstairs offered only several titles at a time.
I am not only spoilt by the selection, but I am finding it extremely difficult to remember how we used to live back in 2010.
