If yesterday I visited, it was today that I fell in love with it. What a well-designed amenity for my city! I observed historical references, relaxed on some of the functional seating, and leisurely explored most ever corner of the perimeter this morning. I had expected fewer visitors on a Monday morning, but there were dozens of people on bikes, walking, and with dogs in tow. The children's play areas were full.
I couldn't be happier. The construction of this park has really helped my city reclaim some of its historic connection to the Fraser River. Kudos for providing a sizable patch of accessible, green grass downtown. This property will become a major focal point of the community for years to come.
