Well, the culmination of the construction of Pier Park officially ocurred with opening ceremonies today. Jay snapped some pictures and returned home wet, or so he said. I was teaching between 8:30 and 4:00 today.
It doesn't feel as though I missed much as the weather was so uncooperative. The weather this June has surely seemed like winter. My current bout of flu has reinforced that illusion. Thankfully, I think this is just a three-day cold because I am already starting to feel quite a lot better. Of course it was a seemingly endless day!
