So Shiny and New!

On Tuesday, the entrance was still behind a fence, so I had my doubts about whether an opening would actually occur. We, however, just returned from the new Landmark Cinemas at the New Westminster SkyTrain Station. How nice to be able to take a leisurely stroll rather than having to drive!

We saw The Avengers in 3D. It's one of those summer blockbuster flicks that merits a big-screen viewing. I'd give it a thumbs up. Although it might not have been necessary to see some of the preceding Marvel character movies, I think it helped. Nearly anything can look authentic on the screen nowadays. I don't know how artists and computer animators begin on scenes as complex as invading New York City.

Walking back to the apartment via Columbia after seeing a movie was a first.
