Singing the Blues

From year-to-year I forget the exact details of our climate. I generally think of mid-October as the beginning of an onslaught of rain in our region. In my mind, I often lump the conditions during October with those of winter.

Today, nothing could be further from the truth. It's gloriously bright and fairly comfortable at 14C (57F), but promises to be even warmer tomorrow. So why am I having this interest in the weather? Why am I blogging about it rather than more substantial events such as the Wall Street Protests that have occurred across the globe?

Namely, I write about the weather because I can.
