The implications are far-reaching. Financial planning for cross-border businesses must be like playing the roulette wheel though. Since the start of this year, the Canadian dollar has been running at nearly par or greater than its US counterpart. There's been such a wide fluctuation over the years we've lived here. At one point, I remember that one Canuk buck was worth only about 64 US cents. Now, with a Canadian dollar worth more than $1.04 it seems like the United States is on sale.
