If you've looked at either my Facebook wall or my flickr account, you'll have noted more phone pictures of late. In fact, there has been a general increase in the number of photos I'm posting.
I took this 'enhanced' photo last evening near the Law Courts building.
It's all due to my new-found infatuation with a smartphone app called picplz. The hook is the dozen or so filters which can be applied to the images. I'm sure that fun fad will eventually wear off. Yet, it's the social media integration that will keep me using it. In fact, it has already turned me away from looking into a new, stand-alone digital camera until manufacturers actually start to implement Internet integration right into the cameras themselves.
