You'd think I'd be used to this after fourteen winters. Still, today's gray and mist kept me pretty much inside the apartment. I went to Walmart in the morning and walked across the street to the store in the afternoon. Yet, this type of day is not conducive for activity. I wanted to stick close to the fireplace as the temperature only managed to reach about 6C (43F). My only goal was to sit on the couch.
I noticed that this TV season's Amazing Race started from Palm Springs, CA. That'd be a nice spot to spend winters and a good point to access the US southwest. We last went there three years ago. After today's weather, I'm ready to spend some time hanging out near a Joshua tree.
