I guess it was good to have been able to check in at BCIT on Foursquare this morning. I may be a bit out of practice getting to morning classes at the British Columba Institute of Technology. I have often taught afternoons during the past dozen or so years. I was there plenty early, though. I shall have to look forward to getting to know my inner morning-person.
Class doesn't actually begin until 8:30, so that means I must leave the house at about 7:45. That's not bad at all. In fact, it was quite lovely today as the sun was bright but the temperature a little cool at the time. The drive to the campus is between 20 to 30 minutes depending how I hit the lights. I will look forward to the commute with the morning's BBC Global News podcast on my phone.
First indications are that my class of thirteen rocks!
On Wednesdays and Fridays we're not on the prettiest part of the campus, but NE 23 is very close to my office, so I like it. On Mondays and Thursdays, we'll be in our department's computer lab in the NE 1 building.
