Things are hazy today. I mean literally. At the present time there are over 400 wildfires burning in British Columbia. The smoke from these fires is mixing with the summer haze and affecting us near the coast too. When I first came out west I was surprised there is an annual fire season here. Every summer there are fires. Some are started by humans but many are caused by lightening. We're not generally affected much near the coast. The fires, although in the same province, are quite far away. Lynne and Joel's son, Ben, fights these types of wildfires in Washington State.
The haze and smoke is visible in this zoomed shot of the Alex Fraser Bridge taken from my balcony.
