Day 27 - My plan was to bookend a tiny blog note between the two, larger photos. When walking anywhere, we are constantly near decorative cultural statues and images. The thing that is key to me, is to never start ignoring them. That is what happens when one gets too familiar with any place. Being able to fully notice and appreciate one's surroundings is one key to staying young. Sadly, I have a lot of acquaintances who think and act as if they are old.
The top picture was near a doorway entrance we passed this morning. Most of the land is precious on this coastal strip as it is a tourist zone. Property tends to get walled off with pathways and lanes running between high walls. A break in the wall had not only a door but the colourful display. Next, the photo at the very bottom was taken near an active, tourist-street shrine.
The picture directly beneath these words needed to be added. We were so spoiled by the price and experience of the Sky Garden, we returned for dinner tonight. As it was a long walk, we used a Grab car to go there at around CA$ 1.50 but made the several-kilometre trek back to walk off the overindulgence.
