Most assuredly this is a worldwide phenomenon for plumbers. Today's one o'clock appointment turned into a quarter past three. Maybe that's not so bad on a Sunday!
It seems as though one of the one professional groups which seldom start late is teachers. At least this one was nearly always in the classroom before even the earliest student. But then again, I was pretty exceptional as well as punctual.
