Timothy was on a flex-day and Ed was in town. So, we met up and travelled to Port Moody. It sounds like far for just a beer run. However, we wanted to experience a bit of the now infamous four, local craft breweries backed up to the train tracks. It was really a smokey day due to the forest fires, but that didn't interfere with the fun.
We had to start off at the Yellow Dog as Twin Sails decided not to open their tasting room and pub today. We hit Parkside after and ordered a take-out pizza while sitting. Lastly, we ventured to Port Moody Breweries. As we walked back for a final tour of Rocky Point Park, I picked up a cool, painted half-gallon growler filled with 'Human IPA' at Parkside. A warm thank-you goes to the Skytrain system for making the day so easy and worry-free.
How time flew!
