
If this is the new normal here in British Columbia mark me down as being displeased. Today was a warm August day but I never had the chance to clearly see the sun. I'm sure our $1 solar balcony light will not stay alight for long this evening. The terrible forest wildfires are making these days awful. The air quality is horrendous.
Folks from this area put up with dreary dark winters and now only half of the summer season is clear with a blue sky. August days have now returned to smoke and darkness. Four or five years ago this was practically unheard of. Now for the second season in a row, the smoke and fires are negatively affecting the resident's lives. There's not a drop of rain in the foreseeable forecast.
