Day 039 of Our Winter: Today, the house is fuller. Jay's sister who lives in Nugegoda came here this afternoon. It took her longer than usual because the newish rideshare car had to pull over because of a defective tire. She had travelled about 60% of the journey when the driver had end his journey and wait for a repair. She had a number of bags and so another PickMe car went to get her. The 43 km trip took at least 45 minutes longer than usual because oft the circumstances. There's definitely more activity and laughter in the house when both of Jay's sisters get together.
We'll all be leaving from here for Dubai early Friday morning. We have Sri Lankan Air flights at 9:50 am but of course we have to leave pretty early even for that itinerary. We have one night in the Riviera Hotel on the Dubai Creek before boarding the MSC Euribia on Saturday.
