Just Being Contrary

Generally, I snap many pictures every week. My phone is always with me and I like recording things I see. I sure wish I had as many images from the first two-thirds of my life. When a roll of film had just 24 or 36 exposures and required chemical processing, only special occasions merited pictures.  Now, that is not a consideration.

Thankfully, too, I can immediately upload them to my online image bank on a website called, Flickr.  The site reports that I have 46,261 images stored there at the moment.

Just now, I noticed there were not as many new images in my never-ending photostream as during most weeks.  It was easy to see differences in the one shot this morning and the previous photo from the day before yesterday. 

These two places are approximately the same distance from our apartment. It takes less than ten minutes to walk to either.  The first was taken in Tipperary Park near New Westminster City Hall. The second I took a few hours ago. It is at the New Westminster SkyTrain Station. There's a feeling of opposition in these two places so close.
