It was an easy day. We leisurely walked downstairs to the Skytrain at around 10:15 am and got off around 35 minutes later in downtown Vancouver. The end of the line is exactly where the cruise terminal is located. There were three cruise ships boarding today so around 6,000 or 7,000 passengers had to get through boarding procedures. We unlocked our door 7022 at approximately 12:15 pm.
Ah, we're back onboard the Noordam. This was our home once for 42 days in the fall after Jay's heart surgery. We went from Vancouver to Auckland, New Zealand through the South Pacific by the way of Australia. (We were on her just about a year ago on a short excursion too.)
We looked around, ate, and headed out to the Inside Passage between Vancouver Island and the mainland. We'll be doing the same tomorrow as well. We're approximately near Campbell River at the moment and it's bedtime.
Lunch was on the Lido deck buffet but we dined formally. Ah, yum. A lot of the cruise experience is the food. People sure eat plenty, us included!
Tomorrow we'll continue heading towards our first of two ports in Ketchikan, Alaska. We won't arrive there until Thursday morning! Lots of beautiful scenery behind and ahead!
