The downtown main drag is called Columbia Street. It was closed to traffic for this afternoon's Pride Street Festival. The events started at 3:00 pm and will run until 8:00. It feels as though our city has become the prominent Gay Village of Metro Vancouver. We bought an apartment here 25 years ago.
