We had to tender far offshore and the tender boats brought us to the village pier. Our ship increased the population of the large island as the MSC Musica holds more people than there were locals.
This would be a great place to stay for a month. There was one larger supermarket that took our credit card. I got a 'Black Princess' lager beer in a can and Jay got a can of soda. The accommodation was all very primitive. Yet it had the necessary beach vibe.
We'd brought along our water bottles and frequently used them on our little walk past the other end of town. We saw where the trails go through the National Park reserves.
It's a shame this is so far from Vancouver as it most definitely would be a fun place in which to spend more than a single day!
