Day 92 - For exercise and recreation, we often walk between the apartment and the front of the Argentine National Congress building. I've posted many pictures of the Congress over the last two months.
Near the top of the Google map image, there's a little, blue dot. It indicates where we stay near the Saenz Pena corner of Plaza Lorea. Today's pictures were taken near the Plaza del Congresso indicated by the map's large, red location indicator. As you can see there's a large monument and fountain here. Unfortunately, both are surrounded by locked fences and gates. Perhaps this is because they will undergo some sort of restoration or maybe it has to do with security.
Anyhow, although chilly, we basked in the morning's sunshine on our rounds. Here are a few pictures of this area. My favourite big, ole tree is closer to our Airbnb on the far edge of Plaza Mariano.
