Day 86 - The weather continues to be hot and muggy. Sundays mean that vendors pull up to Plaza Mariano Moreno to sell food items. Now, our habit is to pick up bread from one of the guys there. The area is right outside the apartment and we did that first.
As it wasn't much exercise, we hopped on the subway and rode out on Line A for seven stops. At Acoyte we got out so we could walk through Parque Rivadavia. It is a reasonably large area and green spaces are lovely on a hot day. As well as common pigeons and larger doves, those trees host a lot of parakeets which are native to Argentina. They were noisy but I didn't manage any usable photos of them among the branches.
After exiting the far end of the park, we continued along the street for a number of blocks. We walked two stops back to Castro Barros before boarding our subway. That must have been around three and a half kilometers. The temperature was 36C and it felt warmer because of the humidity. However, the breeze is nice as the name of this city suggests.
We manage a lot more physical activity when we leave during Vancouver's winter.
