Autumn has seemed like a continuation of summer. For example, today is the beginning of October and the temperature got up to 25°C. We witnessed a drier than normal August and last month was one of the driest on record as well. So, we're technically at drought level number four from a possible six.It has actually seemed pretty nice because we're not involved in agriculture and haven't been bothered by too many days of airborne smoke from wildfires.
This does not mean that we're not been preparing for winter though. We start charting details each spring for the year's winter snowbird escape.
Most every detail of our cruise from Miami to Buenos Aires is set. And our three-month stay in Argentina was finalized long ago. We recently bought our return ticket for the middle of March.
So, we will be away for four months rather than our usual five. We may be able to come up with a different sort of bonus trip and venue for June 2023.
