Day 01 - We sometimes have 'one of those days' where we are mostly in the air. We really don't get much of a Wednesday on November 17 this year. Our flight last night, hopefully, left on time at 6:05 PM to Instanbul.
We are due to arrive for a stopover in the evening today because of the 12-hour flight and the time-zone difference. We should have just three hours to wait for our connection to Dubai. That flight is supposed to arrive in DXB tomorrow at 1:00 AM.
I will probably only check Facebook at IST. Consequently, the first real blog post of our winter will probably show up after we're checked into our studio apartment hotel room tomorrow.

We travelled with a friend who was going home to Kathmandu to visit family. I don't think we ever have travelled with others internationally. We chose seats in the same row on the YVR to IST flight. We had just a convenient amount of time to catch our flight to Dubai. On the other hand, he will have to wait for hours before getting on his flight.
