Jay and I have really enjoyed the local, BC fruit seasons this year. It seems like new varieties of cherries last all summer nowadays. We had a bumper crop of blueberries too.
Now, fall is here and the prune plums, apricots, and peaches are available. Also, we are now seeing the current field crop of apples hitting the market. I love getting apples when they're straight from the orchard. Modern growing techniques now mean that apples grow on what looks more like vines than trees. Apples are surely fresh when one can see a leaf or two in the pile.

Those look great. Which we had some down here in Tennesse looking that good.
BC gets a bit of the continuation of the same geography as where WA state apples are grown.
