Our big meal is usually lunch. Jay uses whatever is available wherever he is. It is a fusion meal with rice at the center and a half dozen meat and vegetable curries. The exact food depends on the availability of local supplies. Lunches in Playa del Carmen have included a fair bit of fresh fish from the Caribbean. Because of the way it works, he can cook at his convenience knowing there's always enough for any particular lunch time already in the fridge. As a dish finishes, new ones can be added. This is a very Sri Lankan way of home cooking.

Today, we added a bit of Mexican Chinese chicken and pork to the plates. Our lunches are always familiar, although they can be quite varied.
