I snapped these pictures at the fresh fish section of our close Chedraui Supermarket. Although not really cheap, they have a much larger selection of prawn types than we can find at home in Vancouver. The bakery section is pretty impressive too. We buy fresh sandwich buns and often a 'treat' or two. The following was called a peach nest in Spanish.
We arrived in Playa del Carmen at the end of the hurricane season. Now the days are much clearer and when the sun is out, it's very bright. We only walked to the beach in the evening. Many Mexicans work a 5 1/2 day work week. So, Sunday is the time that a lot of Mexican families head to the beach. It was very crowded this evening.
