We have also decided to get rid of some 'temporary' bedroom furniture which we've had for at least a decade. Some of that has been in the hallway for a week.
Much of that junk has already been put downstairs for removal. I'm glad the parkade space is empty even though it's only Friday evening.
We'll use the old, box springs tonight but carry it down in the morning. I guess a memory-foam mattress will be fine on the floor until the new IKEA bed frame is delivered on Monday.
It is kind of fun squeezing a year's worth of household maintenance chores into the summer and fall. When Jay locks the door during Novembers and leaves for wintertime, we cannot make changes to the apartment.
There are also even larger decisions if we choose to go ahead with some bathroom renovations. Perhaps this year, we can just remove the tub and add a full-size shower stall. We have Lowe's working on an estimate with some our of selections right now. We can decide on how to proceed after we get a better idea of the costs and schedules.
