This is not another photo from my drone!
Jay wanted to make a few purchases at Galloway's up on Sixth Street in New Westminster. It's chocker-block full of goods with tiny aisles. There's barely enough room to turn around. It's one of those places where one can come to understand the phrase: a bull in a China shop. Jay had to wait to go inside. In order to maintain the 6-foot physical-distancing rules for COVID-19, only five patrons are allowed inside at a time.
I find it easy to park on the roof of the Royal City Mall. In the busiest of times, there are always a lot of spaces on the top of the building. We lived here for years before we even knew about the twisty ramp on Princess Street. One can access the middle of the mall or directly into Walmart. I stayed on the roof during Jay's second run. He had to return to pick up some psyllium husks.

We drove, so on the way back, we went out of the way through the neighbourhoods between 6th and Royal. The magnolia trees are past their prime. People tend to their landscaping in this part of New Westminster. We've seen very little rain since we got back from our winter. The days have been rather cool though. Perhaps this is why the cherry blossoms seem a little late. We parked for a bit on St. Patrick's Street just to snap a photo.
