Day 54 - We left Nugegoda to return to the Minuwangoda house this morning. We'll be here for a bit now. It's hard to fathom how quickly the days seem to fly by. Soon it will be 2020!
I'm eating Sri Lankan kevum. It's common to have these sweets for special celebrations. I ate a few extra but I guess that's okay because it's Christmas eve already. We send greetings to the many Sri Lankan Christians. Our neighbours' tree is outside and colourfully lit.
This house has no chimney and so I'm not really expecting Santa. Besides, there seems to be a hell of a thunderstorm heading this way. Thunder is rumbling. He may not need Rudolph at the lead tonight around here. I just hope I don't smell roasting venison.
