Jay suggested we go over to Queensborough today. We drove to the Starlight Casino. He bought me lunch at the buffet there and used up a gratis $10 in free slot play. I think we both ate too much. It was amazingly busy, especially with the 55+ Chinese crowd. These customers must have swiped their BC Encore Rewards card for the senior discounts too. What a bargain!
Today was the fifth anniversary of my last class at BCIT. On October 22, 2014, I gave my final, final examination to this group of students.
The five years since have been some of the most memorable, enjoyable, and rewarding in my life. As a word of advice: Do not wait until you get old before retiring.
