I love seeing ongoing construction. It is nearly magic to watch a site slowly and miraculoursly morph into its plans. In this case, I will have a lot to watch as the enormous towers rise along the New Westminster riverfront. The site had been a parking lot since we arrived in New Westminster in 1996. So this portends continuing changes for my community. This is another reason why I'm fascinated by the progress which will undoubtedly cut down on my views but increase the value of our downtown.
