This Saturday started out like most, with a trip to the Great Canadian Superstore in Coquitlam. The long weekend doesn't feel too special because life is pretty much always like a long weekend for us now. As Martha Stewart might say, "And that's a good thing." The weather cleared up nicely but it is a bit cool. In fact, I'm hesitant to admit that we still have the gas fireplace on here because of the cold BC nights.
After an early dinner at home, we, at the last minute, decided to ride the SkyTrain out to
Surrey Central. It's only three stops from our station downstairs. Today, Surrey Pride was celebrating Stonewall 50 years on. We didn't spend much time at the special event but found the entertainment fun and the crowd pretty large for the evening.
